Rich MurphyProject Manager

Rich joined our team after 22 years developing and directing children's programs for large faith-based organizations.  He is a graduate of both University of Central Florida (Bachelor’s degree in Organization Communication) and Regent University (Master’s degree in Communication/Film).   After creating themed experiences for some of the largest churches in the country, Rich found the transition into large-scale themed entertainment projects to be natural, while fun and challenging. As a Project Manager, he applies his appreciation for storytelling, visual communication background, and his ability to connect with people to help our clients realize their projects.

Yolanda ThorntonProduction Designer

Yolanda has over ten years of work experience in a variety of industries: manufacturing, glassware, children’s products, and, most recently, defense. Her multifaceted career took off after she attended Florida International University and graduated from The Art Institute. Her diverse design experience allows her to adeptly contribute to the ever-changing mix of work we perform, while her prior years of experience in both creative and logical roles serve our team well. As a Production Designer, she helps us complete challenging projects using her creative nature, keen problem-solving skills, and desire “to bring wildly imaginative things to life.”

Paul is an artist, highly skilled in sculpting, cabinetry, mold-making, or just about anything else he sets his mind to.   Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in architecture from Kent State University and worked for twenty years in the construction industry.  Now, with over three decades in the Themed Entertainment industry, you most likely have experienced his work:  At Universal Studios, Disney, SeaWorld, Gardaland, Italy and numerous museums throughout the world.  Paul loves the challenge of our work and strives to do his best work always, no matter the task.

Shannon StanleyProcurement Specialist

As a Procurement Specialist, Shannon supports our operations by developing vendor relationships, sourcing materials, negotiating purchases and is a linchpin coordinating logistics with our design, production and project management teams.

Shannon’s background is in manufacturing, where she has twenty years of experience in roles including operations, human resources, procurement, and software integration.

Always willing to lend a hand, Shannon is a true team player motivated to keep production flowing smoothly and our project deliveries on time.

Jeff GuiceArt Director

Jeff Guice has developed a diverse portfolio in his 30 years in the themed entertainment industry. From small museum dioramas to exhibits over seven stories high, Jeff has created over 500,000 square feet of scenery, sculpture, and signs. His work can be found in many museums and theme parks throughout the United States and in China, Italy, Japan and Kuwait. His team’s attention to detail and ability to capture feeling and emotion in theming helps separate our work from the competition.

Amy DuRoseProject Coordinator

Amy got her creative start working for regional theaters across the country, including Yale Repertory Theatre and The Public Theatre in New York City. She then moved on to work in the film industry for 15 years. She worked on television and film productions such as Con Air, JFK and the original Beverly Hills 90210 to name a few. Her experience translated easily into her position as Art Director for SeaWorld Entertainment where she helped create the scenery and decor for their events and holidays, most notably, ‘Spooktacular’ and ‘Christmas at SeaWorld’. Amy is always ready to tackle a new project with enthusiasm and attention to detail.

Roxanna Torres-ColonProduction Designer

Prior to joining the ThemeWorks team, Roxanna worked as a designer in an architectural firm for five years.  She earned a Masters of Architecture from Andrews University where she received several accolades for her work and graduated as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honors society.  Since joining ThemeWorks, Roxanna has contributed to both technical and creative design projects and has rapidly expanded her expertise in manufacturing processes and materials.  Roxanna excels at integrating complex components in a 3D environment.

Alex KaplanProduction Designer

Alex is a graduate of Carnegie Melon University where she earned a bachelor’s of fine arts in drama with a concentration in scenic design and minor in media design.  Her enthusiasm for theater has led to her participation in numerous professional productions in roles ranging from props and scenic design to wardrobe.  Prior to joining ThemeWorks, Alex gained experience working in exhibit design.  She has a talent for color theory and visual communications and a special interest in the use of multi-sensory content to increase accessibility.

Damion HabeckElectronics Department Supervisor

Damion is a graduate of Santa Fe College, where he earned his Associates of Art degree with a focus on Math and Electronics. Prior to joining our team, he spent 15 years in related industries and worked on various projects that showcased his talents, including several for Walt Disney theme parks. Over the past five years, he has brought his expertise to ThemeWorks as our CNC Department Supervisor and Electronics/Effects Lead. He specializes in CNC machining, special effects, video kiosks, and show system integration. Damion maintains a fresh perspective and an open mind on every project, helping bring our work to life every day.

Scott GillPresident

Scott Gill is the founder and President of ThemeWorks.  

Drawn to the creative challenges, collaborative environment, and inspiring end-product in themed entertainment, Scott started as a museum exhibit artist while in college, under the tutelage of Vince Gabianelli and the team at Museum Services, Inc., a pioneering firm in the industry.

Since founding ThemeWorks in 1995, Scott has overseen the evolution of the company from an artistically focused startup to a fully interdisciplinary firm with wide ranging artistic and technical fabrication capabilities. He is dedicated to fostering a culture that embraces challenges and harnesses the power of a diverse and dedicated team while championing growth and sustainability. While he focuses on strategic planning, product innovation and team development, his creative spirit, high standards of quality, and focus on relationship building influence every aspect of our operation.

Scott received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida.  He has served in leadership positions on the Themed Entertainment Association Eastern Division Board of Directors, the City of Gainesville Historic Board and is active in mentoring as well as themed entertainment industry and local community improvement initiatives.

Chris KigginsAdditive Manufacturing Department Supervisor

Chris leads ThemeWorks’ additive manufacturing department and has been instrumental in its establishment and growth. Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida and worked in IT and unmanned systems industries before joining the ThemeWorks team. Chris enjoys continuously improving systems and fine-tuning equipment to maximize the performance of technology.

John Carmean joined the ThemeWorks team as Project Manager bringing along a lifelong passion for themed entertainment. During his career, John has served as a creative marketing executive for fintech start ups, SaaS organizations, and in higher education.  John brings experience in building consensus across teams, a creative approach to problem solving and a passion for fast-paced creative work.

John has a Bachelor’s of Science in Cinematography and years of experience in theater and design. John's portfolio highlights include work with SeaWorld, West Elm, Universal, Disney, Gaylord, Peerfit, O2B Kids! and others.

Mike LangloisComposites Shop Supervisor

Mike oversees our Composites Shop team and is responsible for producing tooling and castings for our projects. Mike has over 25 years experience in the construction and boat-building industries and enjoys using his knowledge to solve fabrication problems.  Mike's team produces quality castings and laminates using layers of fiber and resins, from class 1 fire-retardant polyester (fiberglass) to specialty composites such as carbon fiber or Kevlar®.  Mike also works with our design and production management teams in the early phases of a project to develop fabrication strategies that help ensure successful outcomes.

The finish shop is the final stop in the fabrication process and one of the most critical, as that is where form and shape are transformed into "objets d'art" that thrill and captivate audiences worldwide.  Our leader of this critical process is Chris Altigieri, a master finisher, equally adept at deftly applying high-tech coatings or old-world finishes .  While inherently talented, Chris attributes his twenty-five years in the theming fabrication industry as the key to his team's ability to develop and produce finishes of exceptional quality.

Coral brings an extensive background in management and marketing as well as an eagerness to contribute to ThemeWorks' mission of innovation and creativity.  Analytical in nature, Coral provides a sharp attention to detail and genuine love of organization to her position. 

With degrees in Fine Art and Digital Media Technology, Coral has hands-on experience in creative avenues as an artist, web/graphic designer, and home improvement enthusiast.

Justin Haas joined ThemeWorks in 2009 after completing his master’s degree in architecture at North Carolina State University.  

He has served as Lead Technical Designer on numerous theme park and museum projects including Mako at SeaWorld Orlando, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney Springs, themed signage at Shanghai Disney Resort, the Diagon Alley expansion of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Galaxy's Edge, and the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Hotel and many, many others.

Yuset CuetoProduction Coordinator

Yuset attended Florida International University before beginning a career in the food-beverage and pharmaceutical industries, where he worked to optimize filtration processes. A decade later, he joined the themed entertainment industry to enjoy a change of pace and a more exciting career. He has worked on a few notable projects to date—including Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, and the Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy—and he currently serves as the Production Coordinator at ThemeWorks. Yuset brings his empathy, self-awareness, and intellectual curiosity to the table every day to help us create exceptional projects that millions of people travel long distances to experience.

Mike Sherburne earned his master’s degree in Architecture at Clemson University and joined ThemeWorks in 2017.  He has served as project manager for ThemeWorks on numerous projects including Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Hotel, Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind Roller Coaster and many others.

A consummate craftsman, calm leader, and all-around nice guy, Ben started in the themed entertainment industry in 2004 and has been with ThemeWorks since 2008.  Ben has studied art, design and has a degree in mechanical design.  Ben enjoys combing traditional tools and skills with new technology and materials to make surprising and creative products.

Rebecca began her career as a Production and Graphic Designer after obtaining a B.A. in Art Studio from Coastal Carolina University. With 15 years of experience in her field, Rebecca has worked on numerous projects that showcase her skills and her drive: The Hard Rock Theme Park, Busch Gardens Williamsburg Sesame, Archbold Biological Station, and Disneyland Shanghai Fantasyland Signage, amongst others. She credits her success to her unique sense of self-awareness, critical thinking skills, and dedication to continuous growth. Her favorite things about working in the themed entertainment industry are the ability to work with other talented individuals on an array of exciting projects and the opportunity to see a project through from conception to creation.

Kevin has been a part of the ThemeWorks team since 1997.  Kevin’s roots are in sculpture, but he is also an illustrator, model maker, and scenic artist.  Over the last 25 years, Kevin has built a diverse portfolio of work that can be found in museums and attractions throughout the United States and around the World.  As Art Director, Kevin now spends much of his time working with the next generation of talented scenic artists helping them hone their talent and master their craft.

A world class fabricator, Wayn has over twenty-five years of experience in the exhibit industry. His dedication to craftsmanship and quality is evident in all of our projects. He has the proven ability to overcome difficult production challenges and maintain aggressive project schedules. Since joining ThemeWorks as Production Manager in 1997, Wayn has played an instrumental role in nearly every single ThemeWorks project.

Ryan KremserVice President, Project Development

Ryan Kremser combines an exceptional eye for quality with a commitment to client satisfaction, extensive knowledge of methods and materials, and 20 years of industry experience. Since joining ThemeWorks in 2001, he served as Project Manager for ThemeWorks on the Ponce Inlet Marine Science Center, the Price Freedom Exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, the National Museum of the Marine Corps as well as many others. Among the projects that he has served as Project Executive for are the National Museum of the United States Army, Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown.

Kraig puts his twenty years of experience in working in power plants, multiple welding certifications and his ability to coax both art and strength from metal and his team to good use every day as our Metal Shop Supervisor.  Kraig's diverse portfolio from his fifteen years as a journeyman industrial metal fabricator-   from crafting new parts for reactor cores to railroad signal structures- provides a solid foundation for the creative and technical work his team builds for our clients.  Kraig's favorite parts of his job are the flexibility and diversity of our work and creating work that people, especially kids, will remember forever.

Mike Vasseur is an expert at managing challenging, fast-paced theming projects.  With 20 years experience in the industry, he is highly skilled at facilitating coordination between project stakeholders and keeping complicated projects on track.  He served as Project Executive for ThemeWorks on Disney's Pandora: World of Avatar, Toy Story Mania and Slinky Dog Dash, Universal's Volcano Bay, Disney's Galactic Starcruiser, Guardians of the Galaxy, Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld San Diego, Polar Express at SeaWorld Orlando and many, many more.

Mike's knowledge, experience, and focus on communication make him a strong addition to any project team.

Mike leads the estimating team during preconstruction planning for ThemeWorks projects. Mike's seasoned approach in analyzing creative and technical designs at any stage, from concept through schematic, produces estimates that are thoroughly detailed and anchored in proven fabrication approaches.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Masters in Construction Management, from the University of Florida.

Mike has broad experience in the theming and international construction industries. His integrated team approach to the art and science of preconstruction management helps create seamless transitions from estimation to realization.

The trials and tribulations of our startup years shaped the foundation of who we are today. These early lessons and values were imprinted to our company's DNA and sowed the seeds for future success.
